Looking for a thin 120mm case fan
Has anyone found a case fan that is thinner than 1"? The motherboard I have has the DIMMs high and I cannot get a regular cooling fan in there.
Thanks

The Arctic Cooling P12 is 0.98". They have a slim variants that's 0.59". Sounds like you're mounting this on your CPU tower cooler. Can you just slide the fan up a little to accommodate the DIMM heatsinks?

I tried getting the fan in, but the DIMMs are too high. Plus, the top is where the lever is to insert/remove them - great design! Anyway, this is a new motherboard and looking into it further, I'm thinking I do not need the last fan. The board has connectors fo 3 system fans and I have that already, plus the CPU fan. The MSI Center app monitors those connections, so I'm not going to add the fourth fan.
Thanks for the advice. If I feel the need for the fanlater, I will refer to this.
