high end PC Build Check for a budget of 5k - First Time builder
Please take a look at the list below and let me know if this is a good build for a high end PC under a budget of 5k. I already have a great keyboard and mouse, so those are not included. I also don't know if I need any additional cables or anything else for this build, so please let me know if there is something I am missing.

Hi,
the chosen items are compatible. What are you using the computer for?
-
I am trying to get a gaming/coding use computer for 4k graphics.
-
I was wondering, how many fans would I need, is my cooling enough etc, for the gpu and the cpu. Like are there any additional cables or anything I need?
-
The case you have picked out would have 3 fans, what you have for the processor would be fine, and then the video card would have its own cooling with its fans as well. That should all be fine as-is and you would have room to add more fans if needed. Any necessary cabling should be included with the parts, the only thing you may need is a SATA data cable for the 8TB drive.
-
Sata cables should come with all motherboards and you will have good thermal paste that comes with the air cooler as well, so you don't need more paste.
-
For the hard drive, I would recommend one of the WD Black drives or one of the FireCuda drives. Those are CMR as opposed to SMR - CMR drives usually work better for gaming.
