I am having trouble with M Powerspec model G749 forgetting the Logitech Brio webcam requiring unplugging the camera from the USB 3 connector and then replugging it in. Tried a bunch of troubleshooting steps and actually have a brand new webcam. I was wondering the an updated bios is available for this system.
@dperry112
We don't currently and I'm not aware of any USB related fixes for this board. We can certainly look into and make a new BIOS available if that's the solution. Lets try this first.
See if that resolves it first.
The RGB's run through a controller and when you're pressing the "M" button on the case you're desyncing it. Is this a B749 or B750? B749 should be using AURA or Armoury Crate, not Mystic Lights.
The PC is a Powerspec G441 with a MSI Z690-A WiFi motherboard. There are three RGB fans in the case and an AIO Cooler Master with two RGB fans and the waterblock. THe RGB is at the default from when I bought it. I pushed the buttons on the top of the case and changed colors but went back to the default. Right now when I load Mystic Light nothing is showing up on the circle at the left lower corner.
Where it says "LED: JRGB1", that's the header which I don't believe is in use. Change that to select all and try to change it.
I tried this as above and still does not work.
You set a static color and toggled through the color modes to match? Still no change? Next step would be to reinstall the MSI SDK and see if that's the issue. I can look at one and get more details for you Monday. I have a script that'll do it, but it's pretty old. May need to modify it, but basically it'll gut the MSI/Dragon Center install for you so that you can reinstall.
ok. look forward to what information you can provide.
Looks a little simpler now. Try this:
That should reinstall the underlying SDK when MSI Center starts up and fix any software issues we have. If it's not working, try setting the color to Off, you have scroll up on the color pattern list. Then try pressing "M" until the LEDs go out.
Could be a loose RGB cable at either the board or controller. We can look at it in store.
It's a walk in service. We do have the 48 hour repair guarantee on our PowerSpec systems.
thanks
