What should I get to upgrade my Powerspec G509 Memory?
I have already upgraded my storage but now I am looking to add another 16g of memory. Will I need to upgrade my power supply and cooling as well?

Hey, Randw50!
You won't need any cooling or power upgrades for additional RAM. Keep in mind, the G509's stock configuration is 2x8GB DDR4-2666. You have the option of adding two additional sticks of the same spec (linked below) or replacing them with two sticks of 16GB, with the ability to go with a higher clock speed (also linked below).
Let us know if you have any other questions!

Completely forgot to add the rest of my message! Here are the links I mentioned:
Checking our inventory, it looks like we're a little light on RAM of the existing spec in your machine. You'd be able to use higher clock speed RAM, but the speed and timings will reduce to the lowest common denominator (the preexisting RAM): https://www.microcenter.com/product/481738/gskill-ripjaws-v-16gb-(2-x-8gb)-ddr4-3200-pc4-25600-cl16-dual-channel-desktop-memory-kit-f4-3200c16d-16gvkb-black
Here would be my pick if you want to completely replace the stock RAM with a faster kit: https://www.microcenter.com/product/467049/gskill-ripjaws-v-32gb-(2-x-16gb)-ddr4-3200-pc4-25600-cl16-dual-channel-desktop-memory-kit-f4-3200c16d-32g-black

I also have PowerSpec G509 Gaming PC and want to upgrade the ram.
If I do as suggested above do I need to change anything in the bios or is it just plug and play?
This thread is old so is this still the preferred ram? -
Depends on if you're adding or replacing.
If replacing you want to try to find a module with the same die, otherwise running on the XMP speed may be difficult.
If you're replacing with a new kit, it's a little simpler. Just enable the XMP profile in the BIOS.

So I want the best performance so I was going to just replace my current 16 gigs of ddr2600 with this gskill-ripjaws-v-32gb-(2-x-16gb)-ddr4-3200-pc4-25600-cl16-dual-channel-desktop-memory-kit-f4-3200c16d-32g-black
Then I need to go into the bios and enable XMP for this ram? Wasny syre if it will run ddr4 3200.
Will I gain more performance? This machine will be running gold simulator software. Just figured more ram may help. -
Those kits are pretty good. It's technically a performance increase all around but it'll depend on the program. If your memory usage was high, then increasing the capacity will improve all around system performance.
