Need Help Building Gaming PC
Hey guys I'm looking at getting a high-end 4K gaming computer that will last me awhile. I don't have a lot of experience building PCs so I was wondering what you guys thought of my build? Here are some points I'm building toward:
1.) High-end 4k gaming (4090)
2.) 4-5k price range
3.) Adequate cooling for the rig
Here's my initial build i made:
Intel - Core i9-14900K Raptor Lake 3.2GHz Twenty Four-Core LGA 1700 Boxed Processor - Heatsink Not Included
MSI - Z790 MPG Edge Ti Max WiFi Intel LGA 1700 ATX Motherboard
Corsair - Dominator Platinum RGB 64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR5-5200 PC5-41600 CL40 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit CMT64GX5M2B5200 - Black
Gigabyte - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Aero Overclocked Triple Fan 24GB GDDR6X PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card
Seagate - Exos 7E8 2TB 7200 RPM SATA III 6Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Driv
Corsair - 7000D AIRFLOW Tempered Glass eATX Full Tower Computer Case - Black
MSI - MEG Ai1300P PCIE5 1300 Watt 80 Plus Platinum ATX Fully Modular Power Supply - ATX 3.0 Compatible
Thermal Grizzly - Kryonaut Thermal Grease - 1g
NZXT - Kraken 280 Elite RGB 280mm All in One Liquid CPU Cooling Kit - White
Microsoft - Windows 11 Home 64-Bit FPP USB - English
Please review and let me know if I'm missing anything or any recommendations on changes to get more benefit or cost effective alternatives to the selections and my price range.
I was also looking at this Alienware computer from dell as an option and was seeing if I could build something better here.

Why do you need that hard drive? I don't see an SSD selected. Please swap that Seagate for an NVME type m.2
The 7000D is a really big case. Make sure you have room on your desk.
The NZXT Kraken cooler will come with pre-applied thermal paste.
