What's the best route to upgrade from a 500GB SATA drive on my G224? It uses the ASROCK 360M Pro4 motherboard which also has a couple m.2 slots. I see a place for a 2nd SATA drive but was wondering if an m.2 format nvme drive is possible? Is I can upgrade to a m.2 format do i need to stick to the QVL list items listed by ASROCK? Thanks
@hpfireman
M.2_1 is PCIe Gen3 x4. That should work fine. I wouldn't be concerned about the QVL list with a drive, we haven't seen any issues in a while. Also, given the age of the board, it's likely out of date.
