I'm fairly certain Intel will be going to a new socket for their 15th gen. I doubt they'll be kind enough to keep the same socket for 4 generations.
If you're looking for upgradeability, I'd go with AMD.
Motherboard/CPU/Memory
Combo ($399.99): AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, MSI B650-P Pro WiFi DDR5, G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB DDR5-6000 Kit, Computer Build Bundle - Micro Center
NOTE: Remember to update to latest BIOS before enabling DOCP or EXPO Memory Profiles
ALSO NOTE: If you want more RAM buy it now instead. Unless you're okay running 4x memory sticks at 3600mhz. You'll want 2x 32GB or 2x 48GB. More power to you if you're lucky enough to get all 4 sticks to anywhere near rated speed.
For Cooling (139.99): NZXT Kraken 240mm NZXT Kraken 240mm All in One Liquid CPU Cooling Kit - Black -
NOTE: You can save some money here if you prefer to go air cooling: AM5 : CPU/GPU, Chipset Heatsinks : Micro Center
There's also cheaper AIOs from Lian Li but I have never used them. They do seem to have good reviews.
For Storage ($79.99) I get these: Inland QN322 2TB SSD NVMe PCIe Gen 3.0 x4 M.2 2280 3D NAND QLC Internal Solid State Drive - Micro Center
They're cheap and they work for me.
NOTE: The MSI B650-P Pro has 2x M.2 slots.
Here's a few midrange Graphics Cards:
NVidia ($599) ASUS NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 TUF Triple Fan Overclocked 12GB GDDR6X PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card - Micro Center
This leaves your subtotal at $1119.96 with the cheaper option AMD 7800XT
Or
Subtotal $1219.96 with the Nvidia 4070
You're still need of a Case and Power Supply
Case is personal preference, so I have no recommendations there. Just make sure it's ATX compatible.
ATX : Computer Cases : Micro Center
Power Supply: I'd say anything over 850 Watt with multiple 6+2 PCI cables for graphics card from a reputable brand works.
9 : Power Supplies : Micro Center
Lastly note: I'm not sure where you're located but I based some of these searches off Microcenter Cambridge, MA Store. Some may not be available for shipping if you don't live near a Microcenter
Hope this helps.

Is there any suggestions for a case

The best thing to do is go look at cases in the store on display. I mean, it's gonna sit on your desk so you should like the look of it. Take crispycream's list to the Build Your Own PC counter of the store and someone can help you look at cases and fine tune exactly what to get. I've been in several MC stores and the staff at BYOPC knows how to do this very well.
