Freezing on new PC build Windows 11 HSP Firmware Issue

I'm getting a maddening issue with my brand new build. Freezing that happens sometimes after 10 minutes and sometimes after up to 5+ hours.

The first error in Event Viewer describes this issue: "Windows boot environment failed load the HSP firmware. StatusCode: {File Not Found} The file %hs does not exist., Reason: Failed to detect HSP device.

This error is followed by others that may or may not be associated with the actual problem. After a few incorrect reboot errors, I get about 5 that discuss GameInput Service terminating with a few errrors.

I've updated all my drivers and am desperately looking for a solution. I have many years of experience with PCs but it's been a while since I've custom built one.

Freezes and then you have to turn it off? Image freezes on screen? Does the audio freeze, loop or play normally?

For the HSP firmware error, you can turn off core isolation and this error should go away, but I don't think it's the root cause of the issue.

Yes freezes and then I have to turn it off. One of the times I could move the mouse very slowly and it would beep as I moved it.

Most often has frozen in Edge but one time Edge wasn't running. Never has frozen playing a game. Some freezing while GPU rendering an object in a 3D renderer.

Try setting NVidia Control Panel. Manage 3D Settings - Power Management Mode = Prefer Maximum Performance.

It's interesting that for the most part, it happens at idle or low loads.
