The proposed gaming PC configuration is indeed a good choice for 1440p gaming, especially for first-person shooters like Call of Duty and Modern Warfare.
The AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU is a strong performer in gaming, beating even pricier CPUs in a broad range of titles. It performs consistently well and, in most cases, even slightly outperforms the Ryzen 9 7950X3D, especially in games like Borderlands 3 and Hitman 3.
The ASRock B650 Pro RS motherboard supports AMD Ryzen 7000 Series Processors and has a 14+2+1 Phase Power Design. It is compatible with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU and the Corsair Vengeance 2x16GB DDR5 5600MhZ RAM.
The Corsair Vengeance 2x16GB DDR5 5600MhZ RAM is a high-performance memory kit that will provide ample capacity and speed for gaming.
The PowerColor Radeon RX 7800XT 16GB GPU is designed for ultra-fast, ultra-smooth gaming performance at 1440p, and even has the flexibility to experience ultra-detailed graphics at 4K.
The Crucial PCIe 4 1TB M.2 SSD will provide fast storage for your games and other data.
The Lian Li O11 Dynamic Evo case is a popular choice among PC builders for its aesthetics and build quality.
The NZXT C850 850W 80 Gold PSU is a reliable power supply that will provide ample power for all the components in this build.
Finally, the Lian Li Galahad II Trinity 360mm AIO cooler will ensure that the CPU stays cool during intense gaming sessions.
For these are the reasons, I support your list of choices, this PC build is well-suited for 1440p gaming in first-person shooters and should provide a smooth and enjoyable gaming experience.

Hi, Elevated!
Looks like a solid plan for a build so far! I would highly recommend swinging by your local Micro Center if possible and speak to one of our Build-Your-Own associates, as they can help you plan things out and answer any lingering questions in person :)
