what is the proper memory upgrade/replacement for Samsung 8gb 1rx8 pc4-2666v-ua2-11?
I have an HP Pavilion gaming desktop 790-00xx gaming system bought here two years ago. It has the aforementioned memory but I need to upgrade it.
there is an available slot but that memory doesn't seem to be available anymore. Any suggestions? Thanks, I appreciate your help.

How many slots do you have? And what is in those slots now? You can typically mix brands with the same speed ok, although, you may want to just look at replacing the stick you have with a matched pair. Your milage may vary there.

There are two slots and one has Samsung 8gb 1rx8 pc4-2666v-ua2-11. I just want to make sure that whatever I do to upgrade the memory, it will be compatible. I appreciate your help.
