I am a novice to building

I recently had an Alienware Aurora R10 AMD with nvidia 2080. I game but I don't game as much. Between my daughter and I games are Genshin Impact, Roblox, and occasionally Valorant and Fortnite. The most I do is voice recording and occasionally some video editing. I don't need anything crazy and super fast but also nothing super slow. I actually loved my Alienware but lost it due to house flood damage. I figured instead of prebuilt I could go with custom build. What parts would anyone recommend. I'd love to stay between the $1k-$1.5k range.

If you're going with an AM5 build, I would do something like a Ryzen 7 7700 processor, an RTX 4070, and a 750w power supply and work around that to stay in that budget range. For component parts, I tend to like MSI and sometimes ASUS products. For cases and accessories, I normally go with Lian Li products.
