ASUS Prime Build No Display during power up

I upgraded my motherboard with an ASUS Prime Z790 and a intell i9. I am using onboard graphics card. I get the PC to power up but am not getting any display and it's not booting into BIOS. Any suggestions. I tried CMOS, reseating RAM same effect. Thank you

Check the debug LED's and see what they're telling you. Your i9 is a K and not a KF correct?

my processor is an I9-12900K. i didn't see the LED on the motherboard do anything but i'm going to check again now.

I don't see any DEBUG lights. Tried removing one of the RAM cards. No luck. Reset CMOS. Nothing. Checked cables. Nothing obvious.

If the board doesn't have debug LEDs it'll flash a pattern on the power button. What's the power button doing?

the power button has nothing . it's not on steady or flashing

it's also as if the optical mouse does not light up the bottom of the mouse. my keyboard has leds on it and they are not lit either but the fans are running. CMOS was reset and RAM reseated again

got it straightened out. once DDR5 memory is installed, it goes through a routine where something is happening to the memory. during that period everything is black. Running now. Runs pretty fast.

DDR5 does take longer to train than DDR4. Always give it a few minutes.
