Don't want to spend more than this total (2709 pre tax). Could I cut on power supply to 850? Maybe upgrade some parts. I'm looking to make a pc good enough for Samsung G8 Odyssey monitor (4k 240hz) when playing graphic intensive games. Also, at this price, a lot of prebuilts claim to have the same parts and cost less. Am I doing something wrong in my choice of parts?

I just noticed this post, from the looks of things, this build looks like it can handle your monitor, but I would consider upgrading to a 4070 TI super instead. I don't think a prebuilt with similar specs is necessarily going to out preform what you choose, prebuilds are usually mass produced, so parts are cheaper for them to purchase as a whole.
