Do I have a dead Motherboard?
Parts list:
- Mobo: Z790I AORUS ULTRA (rev. 1.0)
- CPU: INTEL INTEL I7-14700K
- RAM: G.SKILL 32G 2X D5 6000
- Storage: INLAND 4TB Performance Plus NVMe SSD (in the M2A_CPU socket)
- PSU: LIANLI SP850 SFX
- I plugged the board into the power supply.
- Flashed the latest BIOS from gigabyte . com/Motherboard/Z790I-AORUS-ULTRA-rev-10/support#support-dl-bios using Q-flash plus.
- Installed CPU, RAM, and storage in the M.2 CPU slot.
aaand the board will not post.
I bridge PW+ and PW- on the F_PANEL and the board does nothing.
I bridge the CLR_CMOS pins then try again, still nothing.
What are my next steps for troubleshooting? Is the board dead?

Did you have a cooler on it when tried to power it on? Aside from a thermal shutdown, it's an LGA socket. It needs some mounting pressure to push the CPU down onto the pins in the socket.
