Powerspec G472

I purchased a Powerspec G472 a few months ago, it worked fine at initially. However, I was out out of town for a couple of month and the computer was powered off. Now that I am back in town it will not power up. It seems to begin start up process with "Powerspec" logo but then nothing happens. Any suggestions?

Does stay on PowerSpec or go black? If it stays on PowerSpec, does the spinning circle appear? First thought would be that it's hung on a storage device. Did you add any drives? Remove anything connected via USB except the mouse and keyboard.

Yes the spinning circle appears initially then goes to black screen. I will try your suggestion

Sounds more like a video out issue with that description. When the screen goes black, does it say "No Signal"? Press "Shift" key rapidly 15-20 times and let me know if anything happens.

Thanks that worked. Now to figure out why the hard drive caused the problem
