open box laptop not properly reset

i bought a gateway laptop 2/12/24, i reserved a new one of 646356 but only had the 1 open box and i was ok with that. i turned it on yesterday (2/13/24 ) and was surprised that it had the information of the person who bought it before and returned it . it had there log-in picture, documents and a complete resume . the resume like any other had names, addresses, personal information like job's phone numbers ect

i hope the right person in management can look into this and find out how this slipped by & how a product with customer information hit the sales floor with out a reset

i do computers as a business so its already been properly erased and reloaded
