How exactly does the delay affect the early access?
-
"upcoming weeks" seems to be the keywords here. So I'm guessing Late May or June even.
-
We are expecting delays for the early access as well, yes. An email should be sent out about this and our website will be updated as well to reflect any changes! Thank you all for your patience with us at this time.

This is soooo disapointing!!!! We had big plans for the grand opening on May 10th. May 10th is my son's (Mason) 13th birthday. Mason has been saving up all his money for the past 18 months to build his own gaming pc. He has worked cutting grass and only asked for money toward his computer for every holiday. We are going to be in Charlotte on May 10th for my nephew's graduation from UNC Charlotte. I and my husband planned to surprise Mason with going to the grand opening of Microcenter to finally be able to buy all the parts to build his pc as he will finally have all the money. He is already sharing this big birthday with the celebration of my nephew's graduation and this was how we were going to make it a special day for Mason.

excited about the NC store! I've visited one in the LA area and Atlanta area. Will be nice to have one 30 minutes away.

What are the current delays why are we still waiting we're in the last month of spring and it would be great if we could know what is going on. It's easier to be understanding when you know the context than when you are treated like a mushroom. We are loyal customers that have spent years buying from you for both themselves and others we want to be able to understand why we're waiting when the grand opening was literally already announced.we would appreciate more information not less
-
I am very sorry for any plans this delay has disrupted. For more information and updates on opening, please visit this page here:

So the new information is to send us to the same non statement statement page we've had since the 26th of last month. Come on its been a month since the last update please actually give us a bone to chew on while we wait
-
@myonen @PaulL I agree! The article says "stay tuned in the upcoming weeks for announcements". We're now nearing several weeks since the statement, not just a few. I had to turn to reddit to get just an inkling of what the progress is, so maybe you guys could have told us about the delayed inspections instead of waiting until they happen for that.
-
We noticed the announcement page announced that the grand opening is now June 7th as of this morning but at the moment that announcement was undone and scrubbed from the page.
I hope the announcement is published today so I can make my PTO official! lol
-
Fortunately, I took a screenshot
-
June 7th! The page is updated! And they've updated their twitter and instagram with the date!
-
So I've been following the opening of this store for a while via texts and the mailing list and I still have questions... Can anyone confirm just exactly what "early access" entails? I want to make sure that if I travel 3 hours to get there this weekend I'll find what I'm hoping to find! Is the store basically open? Is there any reason to wait for the "real" grand opening?
