First Time Building A PC are these gonna work/are they gonna be good?

m.2 Samsung 980 pro 1tb PCIe gen 4x4
Case. Liani Li Lancool 216 RGB
PSU Corsair rm850e 850 WATT 80 plus Gold
Lian Li Galahad II Trinity 360m AIO
Im just wanting to game at 1440p high refresh. mainly play fps games like val and apex but would like to dabble in vr. I also am about to start College majoring in Comp Sci. and i also do some 3d printing/modeling.

You've got a great parts list right there for your goal. The only thing that I'd personally change would be the PSU to a 1000 WATT for future parts that require more power.
