Needing RAM Upgrade
Hello all,
I'm trying to determine what I need in order to upgrade my RAM. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm just a basic home/entertainment user and do not plan on doing any gaming with this particular PC. Current specs on my PC are below.
HP Pavilion All-in-One 24-r0xx
System Type: x64-based PC
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx, 2000 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
I ran a program called "RAMExpert" to identify details of my existing RAM, which is below:
Slot Name: DIMM 0
Capacity: 8GB
Manufacturer: Hynix (Hyundai)
Model: HMA81GS6AFR8N-UH
Type: DDR4/PC4-19200
Could someone maybe point me in the right direction to upgrade my RAM to 16GB?

Since your pc is running DDR4 then https://www.microcenter.com/product/481738/gskill-ripjaws-v-16gb-(2-x-8gb)-ddr4-3200-pc4-25600-cl16-dual-channel-desktop-memory-kit-f4-3200c16d-16gvkb-black is a solid option to upgrading your ram to 16gb. If you do choose this kit remove the single stick from the PC since running the pair will be more efficient.

Hello Zuua,
Appreciate the information! I'm out of Oklahoma and it doesn't seem like this kit has a shipping option from this website.....is this the same kit below?

The link that you've put into your reply isn't working so without being able to click I can't verify which kit you're looking at. If you put the part number of 3200C16D16GVKB into google then you'll find other buying options for the ram kit.

@Zuua
i think I bought the wrong kit. The length of one of the cards is twice as long as what is in my PC. I was able to get into it last night and I’ve included a picture if what is currently in it. Also, I need to correct the Model of the PC…it is an Hp AIO R124. -
This is called an SO-DIMM (Small Outline) typically used on laptops, but also for all in ones, and small form factor systems. You also don't want any memory that relies on an XMP profile, you want JEDEC RAM. You're not going to be able to load the XMP, so most likely 3200 loads 2133 on the JEDEC. I don't see any 8GB single sticks on our site, but something like this: https://www.microcenter.com/product/607746/crucial-16gb-2-x-8gb-ddr4-2400-pc4-19200-cl17-so-dimm-memory-kit-2k8g4sfs824
