have two questions regarding lighting and Bluetooth connectivity.
Hello,
Just trying to figure out if there is any way to get my Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB CPU Air Cooler to light up. I had a prebuild that i've purchased a year ago and now, recently moved all of my components over to a corsair 4000D airflow case. all of the components came from ASUS ROG Strix G10DK-PB766 Gaming PC. the mobo is an AMD B550 chipset but it doesn't specify what exactly is the name of it.
Secondly, i have a connectivity issue with my Bluetooth 5.2 and it's driving me crazy that it doesn't show the name of my computer in my phone when attempting to pair it. i have disabled the adapters on my mobo because it used to have an internal antenna but am currently using the NETGEAR Wireless AXE3000 WiFi 6/6E USB 3.0 Adapter instead.
Any help on these two matters is greatly appreciated.

That'll work. I've used these quite a bit in the past for Bluetooth connectivity.

There should be a cable coming off the cooler for ARGB. If your board has an ARGB connector, just plug it in. If not, you'll need to add an ARGB controller.
For the bluetooth issues, make sure your WIFI antennas are connected. If they are, follow the leads to the board and make sure the connectors haven't popped off the WIFI card.

so for the first part, yeah looks like i'll need to get the ARGB controller-thanks. the second part is the wifi is connected via usb 3.0 and it looks fine to the average bear. i don't have an internal antenna if that helps.

Do you have an external antenna?

i do

Does it work with other devices? How's the WIFI from the installed module? Good signal strength on nearby AP's?
-
been so busy lately but yes great signal strength-this is what my network adapters are showing (please see attachment)
so, I disabled the Bluetooth network connection, and I don't know if that was the right choice. My belief was that the external (Netgear) antenna would be interfered with. Is this the right config? since my router is upstairs and my computer is downstairs, it's only logical to use the external antenna as such.

by the way got the adapter for my argb fan cooler for the ASUS rgb board and it's working like a charm. thanks.

That's fine. I'd disable it there or in device manager if you're not going to use it.

ok sure so which Bluetooth is recommended since I'm not sure which one/s? again a screenshot of what I'm looking at...

Mediatek is likely the onboard.

so after doing further research on my NETGEAR A8000 WiFi 6 & 6E Adapter, apparently it doesn't support bluetooth which is disappointing. I recall one of the reps over at MicroCenter stating that it does and the only reason i decided to get it. is there any other external antennas that do support bluetooth technology? that is actually really good?
-
You could just add a Bluetooth dongle like this: https://www.microcenter.com/product/673260/iogear-compact-usb-bluetooth-51-transmitter

I would have purchased it if it was shippable. Alas I went with the following dongle: ASUS USB-BT500 Bluetooth 5.0 USB Adapter with Ultra Small Design, Backward compatible with Bluetooth 2.1/3.x/4.x only because supposedly it had a longer range...thanks for the help
