can the ASUS Z790-V Prime run a 6000mhz cl36 ram
I was trying to get the i9 12900k bundle, but when I was doing some research, I realized that the ASUS Z790-V Prime mobo can only run up to 5600mhz ram unless you OC (which I don't want to do). So, I was wondering why that the ram in the bundle goes up to 6000mhz if you can't even use it unless u OC.

It's not a manual OC, it's an XMP profile. Go AI Tweaker - A.I Overclock Tuner - Change it to XMP I, II or Tweaked. Then save and exit, board will do the rest.

What type of ram is it ddr 5 or ddr 4 your motherboard supports ddr5.
