Motherboard wont post when 2nd RAM stick is installed
I bought a new bundle of Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX V2, and Flare 5 32GB a week ago. No matter what I do, the PC won't post if I put the 2nd RAM in B2 or any other slot apart from A2. I have tried various methods, such as resetting the CMOS, performing a MEM test, and reinstalling the CPU. Everything works fine with one RAM in the A2 slot. I have tried to wait overnight to see if the motherboard posts and shows the display, but the motherboard is stuck on the same DIMM red light. I even swapped the RAM sticks to see if that works, but it's the same issue. When I remove the 2nd RAM from the motherboard, everything starts working again.
What are my options? I also got coverage on the CPU and Motherboard, and I am still under the 15-day deadline to return if required.

On the RAM, there will be a code. Starts with 04R. What do you have?

Ram: F5-6000J3238F16GX2-FX5
DDR5-6000 CL32-38-38-96 1.35v
16GB*2 AMD EXPO Ready

SN: 24090982486

Single sided Hynix M-Die, surprising you're having any issues. I just bought the same kit a little while ago with that same combo. Can you run Zentimings and screenshot it? https://zentimings.protonrom.com/

I did enable EXPO once and it was working fine but again when one of the stick was installed. I did not enable EXPO again later as I was trying to install the 2nd DIMM and I had to reset the CMOS.

To verify. Will the system POST with a single stick in B2?
-
Negative. There is no posting. There is no Display. The system is stuck on the same top-right DIMM light (Image Below). After waiting for about 20 minutes, I re-installed the RAM back in A2, and the system posted without any issues.

By the way I checked the list of recommended RAM's on Gigabyte Motherboard site and F5-6000J3238F16GX2-FX5 was not listed.
There are other similar variants listed but not the one that I have. All variants end up with a different serial like F5-6000J3238F16GX2-TZ5NR but none of them ended with -FX5

If you can't POST with a single module in each slot, your board is bad. You can check the socket for bent pins, but I'd swap the board out. I misread our POST initially and thought it was working with a single stick in any socket only and was failing to POST in dual channel mode. Get the board exchanged.
TZ5NR is the Trident RGB RAM. FX5 is the Flare X. Don't worry about finding the RAM on the compatibility list. Memory manufacturers change the components fairly often. I can see kits with Hynix M-Die hitting 8000 on their list, it's not going to be a problem.

Thanks for helping Mike!!
