How does this stack up?
I'm building my first PC and after my research, and a ton of youtube videos, I came up with this build. I'm trying to have a decent entry to mid build and to not spend more than 1.6k.
From what I've seen I know that I want a 7700X for a CPU and a RX 7800 XT for my GPU. Everything else is still kind of foreign to me but I think I have a basic idea of it all.
So my questions are, how does this build look? Is it viable/compatible? I know there is a compatibility checker but I want to be doubly sure.
Any help or feedback will be greatly appreciated

Looks fine to me
Is there some reason you don't want the 7700X bundle including motherboard and ram for $399? It would save over $100 from the individual parts you picked.

The M.2 Gen5x4 is nice. For the PCIe 5.0, it's going to be a while before we see cards pushing PCIe 4.0 x16:
