Looking for an adapter
Can anyone help me, a clueless old man, find an adapter? It's a FireWire 800 female to Thunderbolt 3 male adapter. Why? I have an old computer with the FireWire 800 port, that I've saved video footage on an external hard drive, which has the same port and an USB port. I'm trying to update to another computer, which only has the Thunderbolt 3 ports. I have hours and hours of video footage on this external hard drive. While typing this post, I see they had a USB to Thunderbolt adapter, which from what I remember, would take a lot longer to transfer footage, than if it were a FireWire adapter. Just wanted to give the entire story, so you can reply accordingly. Thanks for the help, in advance. Go see my movie next week, Deadpool and Wolverine, in theaters near you. LFG!!
