@Shoan041 - thank you. As it turns out Ken was able to send me a replacement battery, so I'm all set.
Need help for replacement CMOS battery on B500M-C MoBo
The battery is sealed and wired onto the motherboard by a plug. Is this a standard CR2032 battery, and does anyone know where I can get a replacement?
Also, do I have to be concerned with passwords or other issues when changing out the battery?
Thanks,
Dave G.

I have a battery I can send you. I will send you an email for more information. After replacing the battery, the BIOS will load the default settings. Your Windows passwords will not be affected, but if you have a BIOS password, it will be cleared. You might get an error that the BIOS was reset, but you can just tell it to load defaults.

Hi, is this what you were looking for? If so, just make sure you get the right one for your device. From what I know, they are all CR2032 batteries. Hope this helps
