First time building a PC. PLease review my parts list. Thanks!

  • School (coding)

    Why DDR4? If you're building new, might as well go with DDR5. You'll be leaving performance on the table going with DDR4.

    Why Intel A770? Unless this is your backup computer, I would not use Intel GPU since it may have weird problems that will take tinkering to figure out.

    Use NVME, not SATA. Again, leaving performance on the table. I would go with 1tb nvme.

    I would also get a non-F CPU if the price for the non-F CPU is a little bit more only.

    Depending on what resolution you're looking to go, this build isn't bad. You may run into some issues for the more intensive games, however.
    If budget allows, I would say to change a few parts (DDR5, maybe a 4060 super/Ti). Prebuilts are also a really solid place to start if your budget is locked in at the $7-800 price range, plus you do have the room to upgrade them down the road as well.
