If you can't get into the recovery mode, best option is just to create a Windows 11 drive and install clean. All the drivers are on Windows Update, they'll install automatically. Key is in the firmware, so the installer will pick that up. All you really need to worry about is installing the latest GPU driver.

Thinking it was a 24H2 issue I wanted the 23H2 version which is now nowhere to be found. I ended up solving the problem by deleting and reformatting the partitions during the install. I still have no idea what caused the problem

Update: Still having multiple issues with 24H2. Is there no way to get 23H2 back on this machine without a trip to the store?

What issues are you having with 24H2? I'll see if I still have a 23H2 image for this model.

BSODs with no software in particular running. Boot loops to BSOD's 2 or 3 times in a row before it finally makes it through. Just BSOD on my first attempt at this message. Had no issues like this on 23H2 so I can only conclude 24H2 is the cause.

It finally reached the point that it no longer would stay on for more than a minute. Sometimes BSOD, sometimes a blank screen. I attempted another fresh install of 24H2 but that now fails early in the installation with the message "installation has failed" If you dont have an image so i can restore it to factory new then I have to bring it in. Its just an awful 2 hour drive one way on some of LA's worst freeways 😳

Doesn't sound like an image issue, if you're failing during the installation. And we have a 24H2 image that's fully tested. Give memtestx86 4 passes and let me know what you see:

Thanks. I ended up taking it in today and they fixed me up. I think perhaps something went sideways during my initial attempt at installing 24H2. There were some odd partitions on the hard drive during my subsequent attempts and even the tech who reflashed it for me said he saw them. Anyway back on 23H2 for now

Should remove all that with a clean install. If not I'd just go from the installer.
- Shift + F10
- List Disk
- Select Disk #
- clean
That'll wipe it clean.
