G471 LIGHTS RED BASED ON TEMP
GOV007
✭
Hello,
G471 has the case fan lights turn red with temp change. My cpu runs 147 to 154 when stock trading and 4 monitors. What should I set the red light to come on for over heat or warning temp?
Can you add more fans to this case and what location and direction should it blow.
This is a great pc and no issues so far. Purchased Feb 2023. Total ram 128 gb.
Thanks.

100C, that's what it's designed to run up to. You're running sub 70 which isn't hot at all. You should be on the HM8 BIOS which you can check with WIndows + R: msinfo32. If not, I'd get it here:
Regarding the fans. Air pressure is pretty well balanced in this system, slightly positive. I'd add intakes to the bottom if anything. You don't really need that though.

Thanks I update bios and had to reset Microsoft login pin. It also changed my msi center to no longer be administrator.
Also had to perform windows update to windows 11 version 24h2. Kind of nervous will this give me the bsod?
Should I wait?
I have the western digital sn570 blue 2tb
