Second-guessing my build choices

Hello! I've put together a parts list, but I've been struck with a strange sense of dread. I've found myself paranoid that I've made some kind of terrible mistake when specking out this PC. Please can someone assure my worries and double-check my work? It would mean a lot to me. My budget is $3,000, and I plan to be able to play From The Depths and video edit. (And maybe some rendering too.)

Thank you for the photos! Going to assume you are using the 500GB drive for the operating system? I recommend it if not so you can keep all your games separate from it. For your cooler, with you using the 9900X, it is highly recommend to use water cooling. The Lian Li Galahad II is a decent option that will keep you close to the same price. If you are wanting to stay with air cooler, the Noctua ND-D15 will work as it is dual fan instead of single. Otherwise, everything else looks great!

Thank you for your input, but according to the compatibility filter, I can only fit the single fan version in my PC. Is this filter accurate? I'd hate to buy a part that didn't fit, after all. Also, I'd hesitate to get liquid cooling for my first tower, as I know I'd be nervous of the possibility of a leak (though unlikely, I know.)

This may be due to RAM clearance on the board. With the dual fan on these air coolers makes it a bit bigger it providers less space for the RAM that is right next to it. I understand the hesitation with the water coolers. Most manufacturers, however, cover damage due to leaks. For example, the Lian Li Galahad II Trinity AIO cooler comes with a 5-year warranty that covers damage to other components from leaks for up to 3 years after a leak investigation.

I see, thank you. Do you think that I have specked the most powerful cooler of the ones that will fit? If so than I think I'm ready to take the leap. I'll post it somewhere in the discussions when I'm done. Thank you for your help!

Sorry for the late reply! The Noctua NH is a very good cooler. I personally do not have any other recommendations outside of this. You are more than welcome to come by the store and speak with our specialists in store as well!
