Return/Exhange or RMA motherboard.

So i’m fairly certain the motherboard I got has a faulty LAN port, tried updating drivers and everything but nothing is working.. I’ve been in contact with gigabyte (1 message per day) and I was wondering if I RMA through them can I still possibly exchange the motherboard for a different brand possibly or should I just go completely through MicroCenter. I also bought a 2 year warranty when I got the MB.
