Price Match?

I ordered the Simagic Alpha Wheel Base SKU: 696013 and found on simagic's website the wheel base for $589. I asked for the price match and they said that they'll only price match it to 589 if I buy insurance on it too?? With the insurance the total would come up to 700+ and ordering it straight from the manufacturer would be cheaper so I decided to not get it. Has anyone else experienced something like this or got a price match and HAVE to get insurance on top of that?

Alright, I appreciate the comment, I also thought it was a bit odd but wanted to see if anyone else was in a similar situation.

Glad to help! Sorry for any confusion here. Protection plans are generally not something that would need to be purchased to make a price match.
