Need Help Choosing Parts
Hi all,
I'm trying to follow a parts list from /r/Buildmypc at
but when I'm building it, I don't understand if the CPU needs a heatsink, the builder didn't mention his Ryzen 7 7740X heatsinks, and Micro Centers version of it states there's no heatsink with the one they have.
so I added Noctua - NH-D15S CPU Cooler , the case listed from pcpartpicker also wasn't available, I picked what was compatible,
and did same with the fans.
am I messing the build up? any suggestions to tweak the list so everything can work together? any guidance helps,
thank you!

Hi! A CPU Cooler (Heatsink) is required these days to ensure your CPU does not overheat! For some of the newer AMD CPUs an AIO is recommended instead of a Fan cooled one. If you are not satisfied with the case that you chose, I would be happy to send you an email over so we can look at some options for you.
