Maingear Vector 2 MG-VCTR002-2060 Will Not Boot

Hello,

I have the Maingear Vector 2 laptop and it won't boot. It worked fine about one week ago. I've tried several basic steps to resolve but nothing has worked yet. With or without the AC adapter connected, when I press the power button nothing shows on the screen, but the LED in the top left corner of the mouse touchpad and the power icon LED above the power button flashes about 15 seconds later. Also, the USB-powered external cooling fan powers up during those 15 seconds, then shuts off. Here is what I've tried so far:

Disconnected AC adapter, disconnected battery, held the power button to drain any residual power. Tried the power button with the AC adapter connected and the battery still disconnected. No boot. (I've tried this several times, same result)

Disconnected the CMOS battery to reset CMOS. I left it disconnected for various lengths of time. After reconnecting still no boot.

Removed RAM memory stick. Tried it in the other slot. No change, still no boot.

Removed SSD and reinstalled. No boot.

Tried external monitor via HDMI. No signal to monitor and no boot.

Are there any other tests I should try?

Hello! I am so sorry to hear that your computer is not working properly. With all the troubleshooting you have attempted, there is really not much I recommend testing. Bringing this in for further testing would be best if you can!

I tried that already. But with a non-refundable, no guarantee $80 plus tax charge just to look at it, I opted not to go that route.

I'm just looking for any info about this model: user manual, motherboard info, anything that will help me further troubleshoot.

I was not able to locate a manual for this system unfortunately.
