Help Upgrading a ibuypower prebuilt?

I have a prebuilt IbuyPower Trace MR and it dosent nessicarly run the best, it takes very long to load games and when it does load it lags a lot. The storage also is a problem and it often dosent update or download games. It has an intel core i5 and 8 gigs of ram. I never really understood pcs so that’s really all I know about it. I have a picture if it helps but I am just lookin for help finding upgrades.

8GB of Ram is definitely not enough, especially if you're playing games. You need a bare minimum of 16GB, preferably 32GB. Grabbing a new m.2 SSD would also help a lot, especially if it has good transfer speeds. You can upgrade both of those for around $150 - $250 and you'll notice a world of difference.

Thunderstorm made some great recommendations! Depending on the games you play, you may also want to look at upgrading thje CPU and GPU but at that point it may be best to look at purchasing new instead of rebuilding.
