New build issues
I finally got around to building/upgrading my pc.
Things worked ok but there would be weird glitches.
A game freezing, applications and finally task manager.
I used memtest86 and got a big FAIL under 2min. I took one stick out and ran it again for 5min and it seemed ok then other… same… then both but swapped for 4 hours PASS…
I tried to boot windows and BSOD x6.. Swapped the sticks again… BSOD… Memtest again froze right after I started it so I swapped them again and it failed within 2min over 10000 errors and now things are even more unstable. Pc shut down when I left it for 5min, bios freezing, constant BSOD ''Memory_Management'' Code…
I thought it was a Ram issue but now I'm not sure if it's that, the motherboard or the cpu at this rate.
I built a near identical pc a week before for someone and it's not had issues.
I swear I can hear an almost feint clicking/ticking from my cpu/ram area but I've been up all night trying to figure this out X_X.
This is all with default bios settings, fresh OS install, newest bios and the most recent drivers.
I'm 28 days out from purchase so idk what to do.
7600x3D, Asus B650-A and the G.Skill Ram bundle.

Hi! I am so sorry to hear about the issues that you are having with your new build. I see that you were able to come in chat and speak with one of our representatives. Did you have any other questions here?

They recommended that I exchange the bundle. All of the parts are in stock except for the cpu at the closest microcenter. What happens if they don't have it restocked by time I go tot exchange? It's a total of around 5 hours driving with the usual traffic and I'm worried I will have driven all that way for nothing. What happens if the cpu is not restocked before the return window closes?

They store closest to me didn't have the cpu in stock so they let me exchange just the motherboard and ram.
Upon opening the motherboard I saw fingerprints and some sort of dried liquid around the edges… It's looks like it's been installed before due to the standoff metal being slightly worn… This is exhausting….The battery is also not normal.. I built a pc for a friend with the same motherboard and the battery had the motherboard brand on it, this one is generic.
I don't even know if I want to go through the trouble of setting it up after the 5 hours in the car for this….
