Monitors not displaying from graphics card

New computer from microcenter, I am a beginner with computers. Monitors do not display when connected to NVIDIA graphics card, only works when connected to the motherboard. computer came installed with Intel graphics command center, but I don't know how to use it. computer is a PowerSpec with intel i9. Sorry if the information isn't necessary or logical, I am new and not good with computers.
