Am I Doing This Right?

Hi there. First-time builder, long-time admirer of the PC lifestyle. I've had a gaming laptop that I've had the pleasure of running into the ground since college and I'm ready to upgrade. I mainly use this machine (and the one I am going to build) for 2D animation, digital art, etc. and some games. I'm dying to play Marvel Rivals, which I've read is quite intense on the hardware, but I mostly play less-intense games; Minecraft, Lethal Company, etc.

I've linked my build below and outlined all the parts. Please let me know if I'm missing something major? I've got all the peripherals already: A decent monitor, keyboard, mouse, Wacom tablet, etc. I also have an HDMI to USB-C adapter since this build only has one usable HDMI port.

Right now, this build is looking like just under $1000 which is well within my budget. I could go a bit higher.

Thanks in advance! XOXO
