Microcenter AMD Game Bundle Confusion?
AMD is running a promotion with Monster Hunter Wilds where buying a qualifying AMD CPU, GPU, or laptop gets you a free copy of the game. I was planning to buy an RX 7700 XT (when they restock) from Microcenter in St. Louis Park and checked if they were part of the deal. The product page didn’t mention the game, so I emailed them to confirm.
After sending the email, I realized other RX 7700 XTs had a banner saying they were eligible, meaning I asked for no reason. However, Microcenter's response confused me—they said only the Ryzen 9 9950X qualified, even though AMD’s promo includes the RX 7700 XT.
Has anyone else gotten Monster Hunter Wilds when buying a qualifying AMD product besides the Ryzen 9 9950X from Microcenter, or was this just a miscommunication?
TL;DR: Microcenter's site says the promo applies, but support said only one item (Ryzen 9 9950X) qualifies—I'm confused.
