My WD Readyview app on my Samsung Android Phone quit working within the past week, can't login.
My WD Readyview app on my Samsung Android Phone quit working within the past week, It will not allow me to login now, getting network error message. I know the WD Readyview app and NVR have been abandoned by WD. I see the app is no longer available for down load on playstore now either. I think I last downloaded the app in 2018 or 2019. Does anyone know if there is a replacement app that works for remote viewing the NVR. I can still access NVR with computer and reaffirmed the password on it. Rebooted it multiple times but can not get app to login. I was going to delete app and reinstall only to find it is gone from playstore. Does anyone know if it was removed recently or something done to cause it not to work for me. I would not think anything could cause mine not to work unless everything runs through a server somewhere that may have been shut down. Any thoughts??

looks like I may see the issue. The light on the NVR for the Cloud Network connection is no longer lit up so I assume that they may have recently shut down some cloud server connection for the Remote connection for the app. Not sure about that though as the NVR is in a closet and I'm lucky if I look at more than a few times a year. It just runs. I may end up direct connect up a monitor and keyboard up to NVR and log into NVR that way as there is more things to check and control that way.

Having the same issues. Does anyone have a solution?
How about another system compatible with the cameras?
Kindest Regards,

I know I was able to connect to my WD NVR and see my cameras with Blue Iris, but that is a yearly subscription. BI has a remote app for viewing but requires setup and additional fee, plus keeping a computer online 24/7. I liked the WD app for that reason, no fee and ease of setup. I imagine there would be another brand of NVR that would work with cameras and has a remote view app, just need to find one.

MicroCenter Tech support suggested an app called IMSeye - looks free - I downloaded but am not sure how to populate the fields it asks for when trying to add a device - maybe someone her can shed some light on that? Fields to populate:
Address: (maybe this is the MAC address on the bottom of the WD unit?)
TCP Port: ??
User ID: Maybe that's accessible through the in-person interface with a monitor?
Password: Same as User ID location - i.e., local access?

DeeKay, are you sure the app you're referring to was IMSeye. I searched for that app on Playstore and it was not found. Did find an app called ICSeye found in the list. Could that have been tech supports recomendation?

Yes, IMSeye - Now, I am on an iPhone. I don't recall Tech Support asking me about that though.
