Would appreciate recommendations

Hello! I am right now building my first PC and had a friend help me out with picking out parts, he recommended for me to double check his list in places like this to make sure it will be perfect and not run into issues. I was also recommended to have a case with 2+ fans (I think 2 intake 2 exhaust is what they said for this build), and a gen 5 m.2 lane on the motherboard which I don't exactly know what that means by someone else, so the below list may not meet these. But any recommendations would be extremely appreciated. Also, my budget is to keep it below 2.6K USD, but keeping it around 2-2.3K would be the best. (Also I mostly play multiplayer games with friends, and nothing too competitive like FPS games, I also want this PC to last as long as possible with preferably not the most maintenance to get me through college and stuff)

(Final note, the pcpartpicker website said these are all compatible with no issues, but I was told it wouldn't catch every issue and to triple check everything before purchasing, and thank you to anyone who spends the time to read this wall of text)
