Game Crashing

I've recently build a PC and I've been gaming on it frequently.

So far I've played Helldivers 2 (no problems), Oblivion, and FFVII Remake. Those have all been running fine.

However Fortnite is the problem. Sometimes it's fine, sometimes it crashes, lately it has been crashing in around 5-10 into a match. I have tuned my settings for benchmark, performance, high visuals, etc. All ends of the spectrum, yet nothing seems to work. I've verified the files in my epic games launcher and nothing seems to happen. These are a total freeze as well, the loading screen image will just remain and I can't open any other windows or even force quit fortnite, I have to hard-restart my computer. I'm not sure what I'm missing. This PC isn't the top of the line, but it should be able to handle a game like fortnite I would think. Any tips or something I'm missing?
