Where can I find drivers / bios for Powerspec G455
Hey all,
I picked up my G455 Powerspec Desktop computer about 4 weeks ago. Recently, i've been having issues wherein the computer will microfreeze randomly for ~1-2 seconds. I've tried some basic troubleshooting steps (turning off various features on Windows 11 etc). However, it still seems to be happening. One thing that seemed to help was turning off XMP.
Anyway, my next step was to visit updating the drivers/bios for this computer. I'm currently running Bios 1.A03. IS there a newer version available? Where can I find it?
Also, I assume all driver updates are integrated into Windows Update?
Any information greatly appreciated.

You have the latest, we're working on an update currently. But no issue like that has ever been reported. It's not a micro stutter. What are you doing when it happens?
-
As far as what i'm doing when this happens, it's typically gaming/streaming. Randomly, after many hours, it'll start to degrade in performance wherein the computer (not the game) literally freeze for a brief second. I know it's not the computer and not just the game because whatever i'm listening to outside of the game, will also freeze and buzz in my headphones.
I've checked event viewer and nothing concerning has been logged. I thought if the computer was overheating I would hear the fans kick up harder, but at least I haven't noticed that happening. I just started looking into whether or not it's a heating issue, but haven't noticed anything as of yet. Will keep an eye out but it is very concerning as i've never had this happen to me with any other computer before. -
What's your memory usage at when this starts to happen?
-
About 50%
-
What games have you seen this happen on? What streaming software do you run?
-
I run OBS and it's been happening with a game called Chivalry 2 but i've also noticed it on other games like BattleFront 2 etc.
-
Not terribly demanding games, but it still kind of sounds like a memory leak. I would use HWINFO64 to monitor temps and memory usage. Look at the VRAM as well.

SO not sure if this is helpful but i've also been seeing this in Event Viewer:
A corrected hardware error has occurred.Component: PCI Express Root Port
Error Source: Advanced Error Reporting (PCI Express)Primary Bus:Device:Function: 0x80:0x1C:0x0
Secondary Bus:Device:Function: 0x0:0x0:0x0
Primary Device Name:PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_7F3A&SUBSYS_7E341462&REV_10
Secondary Device Name:
This happens multiple times as the computer starts signficantly degrading in performance.
If i'm not mistaken this points to:
PCI bus 128, device 28, function 0
Which would be my
Intel Wifi7 Be200 320 MHZ card.
Thoughts? I went ahead and updated the drivers using the Intel driver utility but still the errors persists. -
Are you using the WIFI adapter or Ethernet?
-
Well I was using the Wifi adapter.
Now when trying to use the ethernet adapter, it seems like that's not working at all. It's not detecting a network cable being plugged in despite testing this same cable in a different machine. It worked for 2 minutes as only 100/100 mbps (I have fiber) and now it won't even detect. I tried a different cable as well, nothing.
It's just starting to seem like this is all pointing towards hardware failure. -
It's possible, but try another cable first. I've had ethernet cables that seemed fine on a 1Gb ethernet adapter then failed on a 2.5Gb.
-
Same deal, third cable now.

We'll swap the board under warranty in that case.
