Powerspec G755 how to change fan lights?
Basically what the question above asks: how do I change the color of the lights and/or turn only the lights off completely? I am aware of the physical buttons on top of the panel could change the colors and modes, but late at night, I would like to turn them off since they can be so bright.
Downloaded the ASUS Armory Crate application and it seems to recognize my motherboard and the "addressable LED strip" no problem. However, actually altering the fan lights through the application has yielded no change/results! Is there another application I should download? Am I skipping a crucial step in the process?
Sorry, first desktop I owned so not too familiar with the setup process. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Weird. So 'M' is separate. Focus on that. Set a static color in the ASUS Armoury Crate software. Then toggle 'M' until the case fans match. Don't touch 'C'.

It worked! Kind of followed your instructions and played around with it and it finally synced up!
1. Pressed on "M" until it was what I believe is the "Rainbow" option (looks like the default version but slowly shifts colors)
2. On the ASUS Armory Core, clicked on the "Rainbow" option
3. It seems to sync up now properly after messing around with it
Note: Pressed "M" and it seems to un-sync with ASUS Armory Core, so keep note of that.
But thanks a lot!

I would assume the controller isn't synced to the board. Set a static color then press the "M" button until the colors match. Then you should be on motherboard control.

Thanks for the help Mike W.! Hmm it still doesn't seem to work unfortunately. Here's my step-by-step process to help showcase the issue to you and others.
1. Turn on PC, the fan lights is whatever was set before hand. It's set to a rainbow light preset as default out of the package and in ASUS Armory Crate as well.
2. I have 2 buttons on top: a "C" and an "M". The "C" turns the fan mode lights into a static color and pressing "C" again changes the color. "M" changes the fan modes lights but not the color.
- For this step, the "C" and "M" seems like they work independently from one another, as pressing "C" then "M" and vice versa doesn't seem to have a effect on each other, if that makes sense.
3. Following your instructions, I pressed the "C" one time and it's a static red.
4. Then on the ASUS Armory, set the "Aura Effects" to static and to the color red.
5. And then…nothing. If I were to change the Aura Effects to rainbow or whatever light preset, nothing would happen. The only way for me to change is to physically press the buttons.
NOTE: It seems the only issue I have is the fan lights, using Fan Xpert for example seems to work stellar and is responsive.
Hopefully this helps highlight my process. If I skipped a step and made a wrong move, please do tell me! I'm also curious if there is a nuclear option to fix this issue (ie re-installing ASUS Armory Crate). -

@PowerSpec_MikeW
…Appreciate your comment (or lack thereof lol). I do have another question though, would I need to open up my desktop in order for me to solve this issue?
