Need Help Choosing Parts for surprise Birthday gift
I was trying to build a mini-itx PC for my brother for his birthday. He has one that is slowly failing, and I want to surprise him. His current build is in a custom case, the the dimensions are a bit odd. They are roughly 2.5"wideX12.5"deepX14"tall. Making something with a similar footprint is my goal.
The closest case available is the Ridge mini-itx and the current best rated motherboard for that size of case seems to be the ASrock z870i

Beyond this, I am fairly lost on what can fit within the case and what pairs well with the mobo. I think his current build has 2tb of storage and 16~24gb RAM. I am not sure on his PSU or graphics card.
