Powerspec G911 Request for an updated BIOS.
My current BIOS is dated March 2025. I’ve noticed that MSI has since released several BIOS updates for the X870E Tomahawk motherboard, including important security fixes for the Ryzen 9000 series.
Could you please provide either:
- An updated BIOS for the PowerSpec G911, or
- Instructions on how I can safely install the latest MSI BIOS in place of the PowerSpec version?
Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

Attached our latest.
To flash our BIOS you must enter the BIOS and press Control + Alt + T for advanced flash mode. On the MSI BIOS you can just flash through M-Flash.

Thank you!

Confiring this is latest BIOS for the G911? I picked up a G911 yesterday and noticed the BIOS was also March of this year…
-
Yes, G911 and G912. Same BIOS.
-
- Is this BIOS customized for the G911 or are they the same as the MSI BIOS?
- Also, are BIOS requests only made here or is there a section for downloading?
- Finally, I assume other components that need updating (other core system drivers etc) are handled through Windows (or in the case of the GPU, Nvidia)?
-
- It's customized for the G911/G912.
- Here, but there is a list of downloads on Powerspec.com
- Windows Update. For Nvidia, we include their app which will prompt you to update but it's not automatic like Windows Update.

Thanks, I looked for a download section for the g911 but for the life of me still can't find it. I'll download the one higher in this thread. Appreciate the feedback.

Mike W, I successfully installed the BIOS above E7E59AM702A02 (2).7z by extracting onto a USB drive formatted as NTFS. The BIOS flash process went fine but note my PIN used to login to Windows 11 needed to be recreated and I needed to give my login credentials for Google, my weather website, and DCS (a game). Why a bios update clears cookies for games and web sites is pretty weird.
-
Most likely it reset the TPM and login credentials need to be confirmed. Your system would be a firmware TPM, it's not discrete.
-
Interesting, that's a first. Ok, thanks!
