How does the warranty for the BambuLab P1S combo work?

I purchased my P1S combo (Bambulab printer + AMS) just under one year ago, and my AMS recently stopped being able to send filament to the printer. I'm 99% sure something is broken or wrong with the internal AMS motor, but BambuLab docs are telling me that I can only request warranty fulfillment through Microcenter, which is where I bought it.
Do I have to bring both my AMS and my printer to a physical Microcenter location to get the whole unit replaced, or is it possible for them to just swap out the AMS? (so I can leave my still functioning printer at home)
