PowerSpec G483 Gaming PC: Can someone explain in detail how to open the case of the PC?

Hi good folks,

I just very recently purchased a PowerSpec G483 gaming PC from Micro Center and would like to know if anyone can give a detailed account of how to open the PC case please. Thank you!

  • I went through this with their G911 system just recently after purchase. The case is the same as mine.

One thumb screw on the back

Top cover pops off, one screw.

Tabs on the case edge along the back of the system (where all the ports are) have to be "popped" out a bit. and then the whole glass cover thing is now loose. Note I had the system lying on the opaque plastic side so I could get into the box and add an SSD. Sorry I can't be more specific but I'm not at my PC and doing this from memory.

It frustrated the f*** out of me, then I saw how simple it was after doing it. I need to go back in and put one of those small posts to give the 5080 hanging there some stability.

  • Thanks Boss281!

I just picked my G483 up from Micro Center on Sunday 10/19/2025, and today is 10/22/2025. I plan on adding another NVMe SSD, but I first need to open the box and unpack everything - it's still in my room sealed in the box! lol. Just haven't had much time with work and all, but this week or weekend I plan on setting it all up and trying it out! I'm stoked for it.

Does it come with a helpful user manual of some sort to illustrate how to do things such as open the case and other important items about the PowerSpec PC?

I haven't had any luck finding a user manual/user guide online to download, which is unusual, but I did find a downloadable setup guide.

    Thanks again!

If you or anyone knows of a full user manual or user guide I can download from a website, please let me know! Thank you!
