Thoughts on build!

Been a very long time since I've built a PC. Please be kind. Looking for suggestions on if I should use this 285k or wait till mid 2026 for the new 300 series coming. Also an overall look at this build, tweaks and thoughts. One last thing would be MSI or Gigabyte motherboard? I plan to play a simple game like everquest emulator server, also all the newer RPG, mmo, shooter games.
