POWERSPEC G728 Bluetooth and audio issues

I purchased a POWERSPEC G728 this week and I have been trying to set up some head phones.

I've first tried using my Beats Studio Buds, which work fine with my Mac and iPhone. At first, they pair fine with the PC, but no sound comes out and they disconnect after a minute or so. I am then unable to connect them again without re-pairing them. I've tried updating drivers, unpairing and re-pairing, removing the hands free telephony setting, and factory resetting them. I've ensured the buds are set as the default audio device during the short time they are paired and the volume slider does show as active and working, even if sound won't come out of the buds.

I then purchased Steelseries Arctis Nova 1 headphones ( wired through the headphone jack) and these produce sound but are very muffled and some sounds simply can't be heard.

Any ideas as to what may be causing the issues for either device? Thanks all
