what to do with faulty ram stick wayy outside of return period?
for like 4 months after my initial purchase i didnt have any issue but it was around then when my computer started to bsod very frequently, so i got a new ram kit which stopped the bsod but now i've had these 2x16gb corsair vengeance sticks lying around, is there any way i can like do something about it???

If you haven't already, best thing to do would be to start a manufacturer RMA/warranty claim, since your RAM should still be covered by Corsair's warranty. The basic process is that you fill out a form on their site, you send the RAM to them, and they send a replacement to you.
